"Just wanted to give you a call and let you know that I'm actually going to be out in your neck of the woods next week and see if you wanted to grab lunch or something. Catch up."

"No, it's fine," Debbie replied. She moved to sit down in on the sofa, and adjusted to hold the phone with her hand. Honestly, she has welcomed the distraction. Hearing a friendly voice is exactly what she needs right now. She wasn't sure what she would do once Randy was actually sleeping. Train? Her heart didn't really feel into it right now.
"He's practically asleep anyways," that wasn't exactly true but Clark didn't need to know that. "Besides, it's been a long time."
